Content writer & marketeer for an educational e-commerce company based in Germany

What you will do operationally:

Copywriting
- You will write all listings for our products on Amazon and Shopify to appeal to our customers and the respective indexing algorithms. The respective product developer will support you as your sparring partner.
- This means specifically creating product listings for Amazon and Shopify, including content writing & editing, setting up A+ content, image editing and - keyword research & implementation.

Content writing for psychologists
- Write in-depth blog posts that connect psychology-related topics to our products, useful for coaches, trainers or therapists. You can rely on your own ability to learn and research as well as on other tea ---------- mbers contributing as experts. .
- Contribute to SEO-optimisation efforts for selected product pages and blog posts. Ideally you have previous experience in content- and technical SEO.
- You can already use ChatGPT or other AI tools (prompt design) to 10x your output while being able to be the ‘editor’ of the AI to ensure quality and human touch.
- Break down long-form content created in blog posts into copies and captions for our social media platforms, e.g. Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.


Email marketing
- Manage our email marketing operations and strategy using the software Drip.
- You will create bi-weekly educational Emails featuring coaching methods and products as well as monthly simple “Product Update” Emails.
- Further co-develop and improve our Email marketing by A/B testing different subject lines, contents and approaches.

What you will do strategically with the rest of the team:
- Do market research to connect to and identify clearly our target audiences, their pain points and necessary messaging.
- Create marketing strategies using different marketing tools and channels.
- Identify new ways of marketing to our target audiences, experiment, fail, learn, and eventually succeed.
- Set up data analytics to make our efforts more data-driven and work numbers based on conversion rates, rankings, CTRs, etc.

What a background could look like:
- Experience and education in writing (e.g. study of literature or professional copywriter) or as a trainer/ teacher/ coach
- Knowledge of e-commerce and related marketing areas.
- Have experience or interest in psychology & personal development and develop an understanding of our psychology target group as well as coaching & training methods.
- Have a good understanding of SEO and experience using an SEO tool like Ubersuggest.
- Experience in Email Marketing
Happily welcome but not a requirement:
- Basic design skills to handle Canva.

- Reliable compensation of ?35,342 for entry positions, plus 13th monthly salary and yearly bonus goes directly to your account, also during sick leaves. There is a 3-month probation. Afterwards, you have the option to join us full-time.
- Work when you want. We understand that some of us are early birds while others prefer the late afternoons or evenings. Your work schedule is up to you! Trust is a core value within the team and so is responsibility and accountability. This is one reason why we do not have time tracking. As this is a full-time position, we expect a 40-hour work week. The metaFox team currently has members working in Germany and in the Philippines.
- In-house training on the platforms and web apps we use like Slack, Asana, etc.
- We support personal and organizational development by providing training on relevant self-development topics (e.g., mindfulness, communication, emotional intelligence, etc.).
