We’re in search of a dedicated Product Owner to join our team on a full-time remote basis. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in collaborating with a diverse team of creators, driving innovation, and shaping the direction of our products. You will work closely with talented engineers and designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions through effective communication and teamwork.
This is a worldwide remote position that requires you to be available during the company working hours (8 AM – 6 PM Eastern Standard Time). Applications from candidates within similar time zones (GMT-5) will be given strong consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Translate client requirements into technical plans for execution.
- Ensure thorough discussion of all plans with the Director of Engineering and/or the Project Manager to guarantee a seamless handoff.
- Define and prioritize product features based on internal research, customer feedback, and strategic objectives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create and maintain product roadmaps, release plans, and sprint objectives.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback to refine product enhancements.
- Manage the product backlog, including organizing, prioritizing, and refining user stories.
- Facilitate communication and foster a culture of transparency and collaboration among team members.
- Collaborate closely with designers and developers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features that meet user needs.
- Continuously assess internal documentation performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization in our ticketing system.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a product management or product owner role.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, preferably Agile/Scrum.
- Proficient understanding of task-tracking ticketing software, including platforms like Jira, Trello, Monday, etc. (Note: We utilize ClickUp).
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering software products or features on time and within budget.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to inform product decisions.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
