JOB OVERVIEW

Small construction business looking for a virtual assistant/bookkeeper. Position will start at 5-10 hours/week and we will adjust from there as needed.

Requirements:
Fluent in English - we must be able to communicate clearly
Expert knowledge of Quickbooks Online
Open to learning new software
Skills and knowledge to build and maintain spreadsheets

Skills/Tasks needed:

-Quickbooks Online
- Frequent bank reconciliation
- Frequent maintenance of Budget [app called YNAB (You Need a Budget)]
- Quickbooks ---------- maintenance
- Data entry
- Managing accounts payable and recording payroll
- Manage and sort automatic mileage tracking within QB
-Generate profit/loss reports per each project, as well as other expense reports
-Help develop and progress towards financial goals
-Find important KPIs to refer back to, such as a KPI for how many employees the company could handle
- Detail oriented and organized, ability to track and send reminders to owner
-Light management of project scheduling

This is a new position within the company and will need refinement to figure out exactly what tasks are needed, the hours necessary, and how to develop processes to manage everything efficiently. We will need to work together to develop efficient systems. There are also some further tasks that could be added in the future if appropriate.
