Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time (with potential to move into full-time) Virtual Assistant to provide administrative support to our team while working fully remote in US hours. Experience with social media and content creation is crucial for some of the tasks given.
As a Virtual Assistant, you will perform various administrative tasks, including various forms of online research, reporting, data compilation, basic outreach, scheduling, content hunting and selection, time stamping, and more. For this role, a strong Internet connection is required, along with experience using communication tools like Slack.
Ultimately, you should be able to multitask with handling multiple administrative projects and deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision. Autonomy and time flexibility is a must.
Company Overview:
My name is Jeremy and I own and operate two companies: New Earth Media and Davenport Media.
New Earth Media is a digital media agency that works with Christian protestant english speaking churches to help them scale their social presence and foster community with their current members. We primarily focus on editing content created from recorded sermons and podcasts episodes.
Davenport Media is also a digital media agency that works with companies and personal brands to scale their social and digital presence. We specialize in long and short form content as well as offer other services that help companies scale online.
We are looking for editors who can learn the foundational skills of what makes viral content and can apply the process to a myriad of unique clients, whether it be churches, companies or personal brands.
While Davenport Media is my first media business, my passion is in my new start up: New Earth Media. I am in the middle of systemizing and finalizing my process for driving consistent growth to churches who struggle to manage their social media. My dream is to manage 200 churches from across the world. With the right strategy and the right people who truly care about Jesus, we can make a difference for the Kingdom by reaching millions every day with the content we create. The more we scale, the more we can help churches reach people for Jesus and save souls for eternity.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Main duties will be: online/social media research, data scraping and compilation, scrubbing social media content for purposes such as time stamping, maintaining records, scheduling, editing, remixing etc…
Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or relevant role (1 year minimum)
Familiarity with social media as we are in the creator industry
Experience with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, etc…)
Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g. Google Calendar)

This position will mainly require one to be able to sift through long form content from our clients and find the most engaging and quality portions of it to form into short form content. This ability stretches not just to mainstream content but church sermons and podcasts. You must be able to not only find the best clips from sermons but explain why those clips are the most engaging.
