Structural Engineer/Draftsman (Australian experience required)

We are searching for a competent structural draftsperson to join our team on a contractual basis (20-40 hours per week). We are an architectural and structural drafting company that is based in Western Australia that complete residential and commercial projects. These projects include new homes, renovations, sheds, pools, and commercial structures such as offices, childcare centres, fitouts and more. The structural documentation will include footing details, slab plans, roof framing plans etc. as required.

If you are able to work directly from an architectural plan rather than from a markup, please make this clear as it will be looked at very favourably.

Please do not apply if you do not have any Australian experience working in the residential sector as you will not be considered for the role.

The ideal candidate will;
-Be able to work independently to create structural documentation based on Architectural documentation
-Have previous Australian Experience (Western Australia preferred)
-Be competent to produce structural documentation for review by an Engineer
-Have a minimum of 2 years using Autocad
-Experience with a variety of projects preferred including new homes, renovation and commercial developments
-Experience with multiple construction methodology including but not limited too; double brick, timber, steel and concrete tilt panel.
-Fluent English (written and verbal)
-Able to provide examples of previously completed work (please attach to application if possible)
-Provide own computer (software provided) to work from home
