JOB OVERVIEW

Flexible on the work hours as long as the work gets done

• Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
• Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance Company’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications
• Maintains relations with customers by organizing and developing specific customer- relations programs; determining company presence at conventions, annual meetings, galas, and seminars.
• Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
• Ensure articulation of Company’s desired image and position and assure consistent communication of image and position.
• Coordinate media interest and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
• Maintains research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.
• Provides marketing information by answering questions and requests.
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Manage all social media pages
Overall:
• Social media scheduling
• Maintain profiles such as approve friend requests, post or refresh content, determine best of course of action for direct messages sent to accounts.
• Help set up systems for social network updates.
• Upload blog posts, find relevant graphics or photos to go with posts, moderate comments.
• Online reputation management using a variety of social media search tools to ensure that we are immediately aware of either positive or negative comments about brand.
• Research what others in the industry are doing online and in social media.
• Research industry blogs and set up feeds in a reader for easy organization and tracking.
• Upload video content and track viewer statistics.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Exceptional communication skills in English including written, verbal, and speaking.
• Ease and professionalism when communicating with medical and legal professionals and a diverse client population
• High level organizational skills (e.g., strong and detailed documentation skills) with an ability to monitor case load and maintain electronic case records efficiently
• Ability to critically assess and problem-solve situations, including awareness of potential questions, conflicts, and consequences
• Ability to establish authority and set appropriate boundaries and expectations (i.e., capacity to balance simultaneously friendliness and professionalism, or offer compassion while maintaining professional detachment)
• Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and analyze data
• Ability to manage a caseload that is varied and unpredictable

Previous Experience & Education:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing manager/social media expert
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in marketing communications
