DevOps Engineer

Job Description:
As a DevOps Engineer with Google Cloud experience at Viribuz Media, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with our development and operations teams to automate processes, enhance system performance, and ensure the security and availability of our applications.

Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) on GCP using tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
* Collaborate with software developers to optimize application deployment pipelines on GCP.
* Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of resources on GCP.
* Implement security best practices on GCP, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption.
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize development workflows and processes.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps and GCP.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud.
* Strong experience with Google Cloud services and solutions, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Pub/Sub.
* Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
* Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Google Cloud Build.
* Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes on GCP.
* Understanding of networking, security, and compliance best practices on GCP.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
