Energy Rebate Program Specialist

At Brilled Lighting, we’re changing the way businesses save money on their lighting and energy costs. We help small businesses, contractors, and ESCOs get rebates and save on energy by providing high-quality LED lighting solutions. We’ve already saved our customers hundreds of thousands of dollars, and we’re looking for a Rebate Process Manager to help us grow even more!

Your Responsibilities:
• Research rebate programs: Stay informed about rebate opportunities for LED lighting and energy-efficient products across the U.S.
• Understand lighting products: Be knowledgeable about the differences between older and newer LED products to assist with rebate documentation and provide accurate estimates.
• Oversee the rebate process: Manage the entire process from providing estimates to ensuring the final rebate check is received.
• Collaborate with the team: Work closely with our sales team and utilities to ensure timely submission and approval.
• Work U.S. hours: Be prepared to work during U.S. business hours for part of the day.

What We’re Looking For:
• Electrical Engineering graduate (experience in the lighting industry is a plus)
• Previous experience with REBATES or familiarity with utilities is PREFERRED
• Strong Excel skills: Able to track and manage rebate data efficiently
• Growth-oriented: Enjoy working in a fast-paced, expanding company
• Clear communicator: Strong English communication skills, especially when interacting with utilities
• Numerically inclined: Comfortable with math and selecting the best products to maximize rebates
• Self-driven: Results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
• Collaborative: A team player who works together to achieve success
