WATERPROOFING ESTIMATOR

We are an Australian based Waterproofing company Located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. With a team of 6 Waterproofing applicators we service areas from the Sunshine Coast through to the Gold Coast.

Position Summary:

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate and insightful cost estimates for all projects within both our Residential & Commercial sector.

Your ability to analyze project specifications and select materials required ensuring correcting costings.

Most of our projects are;

1. New residential home builds
2. Commercial Units & Townhouse Blocks
3. External works such as retaining walls, planter boxes & balconies etc

Job Details:

Work from Home
Monday to Friday | 8 AM to 4 PM EST
*Excluding Public Holidays

Responsibilities:

Collecting all documents for estimating, including Building Plans, Technical Drawings, and Project Specifications, with a 80% focus on Residential projects, and 20% Commercial works.

Drafting quotations that detail envisaged materials, costs, and time frames, tailored to the unique needs of each clients job specific request.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Building Engineering, or similar.
3 years minimum experience in Construction estimating, with a focus on either commercial or residential projects.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge with Planswift software
Knowledge of relevant technical and non-technical documents related to construction.
Exceptional quantitative skills.
Outstanding research and proposal writing skills, specifically tailored to project requirements.
Dependable, conscientious, and well-spoken.
