Page designer/sports reporter

The BVI Beacon, a leading Caribbean weekly newspaper based on Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, seeks a page designer/sports reporter. Responsibilities include laying out a weekly print edition from front to back; reporting on an active sporting scene that ranges from basketball to cricket to sailing to triathlons; overseeing a website; and contributing to the newspaper's social media presence. There is ample opportunity to contribute in other areas of interest as well. The ideal candidate should be an independent self-starter with professional journalism and design experience.
