Freelance / Part-Time Finance Controller

We are a Singapore based company seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller on a freelance/part-time basis who will be pivotal for overseeing financial operations, ensuring regulatory adherence, and supporting stakeholders in the business.

[Key Responsibilities]
-Develop and monitor a set of KPIs reflecting all aspects of the Business Line's performance, ensuring early identification of issues as well as outcomes.
- Advise and implement process improvement measures on resource allocation, invoicing process, revenue recognition, expense booking and other management reporting related issues.
- Ensure timely delivery of financial and management accounting and reporting to the highest standards
- Handle overhead and capital expenditure control as well as cashflow management and forecasting
- Supervise financial services such as vendor payments, staff claims and government grant claims
- Work closely with government agencies and external parties such as accountant, tax consultants and external auditors
- Participate in due diligence analysis of new business opportunities
- Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time

[Our Candidate Requirements]
- Degree in Finance/Accountancy with 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience in finance, cost controlling and audit preferred
- Highly motivated self-starter with positive mindset
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Resourceful, meticulous, hands-on and resilient
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate with others
- Proficient in using QuickBook accounting software

[The Working Expectations]
- This is a fully remote role, the primary communication channels you will have with the team that is primarily Singapore based will be - Telegram, Zoom
- Contactable & Responsive to Company Directors finance related queries
- Have an existing internet connection that is reliable
- Be adept in using online tools/platforms like Telegram, WhatsApp, Zoom, Teams & Google Workspace
- Meet stipulated deadlines - deadlines that are committed to are expected to be met, if the deadline can’t be met we expect this to be flagged out early & a renegotiation of a new deadline initiated
