Developer / Programmer (NodeJS, NextJS, Python)

Hello there, we are a small technology and data company in Canada looking for a talented developer to join our team to help us improve our existing platform.

We use these technologies:
NodeJS, NextJS Javascript, Python, SQL

Our technology architecture includes the following:
Websites built with NodeJS and NextJS
Web scrapers built using Node JS / Javascript
Data infrastructure built using Python

Responsibilities:
Maintain existing website / app built in NodeJS and NextJS and make incremental improvements
Build new web scrapers using NodeJS
Maintain existing database and build new SQL queries based on business requirements
Help prototype new Dashboards and reports using SQL
Improve the existing rule-based algorithms to improve accuracy
Perform data analysis and identify issues or bugs in the code

Qualifications:
2+ years experience with Javascript or NodeJS
1+ years experience with React and NextJS
1+ years experience with Python
Good understanding of SQL
Experience with Github
Fluent in speaking and writing English
Able to work in an Agile project management environment
Self-motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision
