Exciting Remote Opportunity for Accountants in the Philippines!

Dolman Bateman is a boutique chartered accounting firm located in Sydney, Australia, that services a range of clients in small to medium businesses across numerous industries including construction, eCommerce, hospitality, finance, manufacturing, and superannuation. We have recently had a large influx of exciting new businesses, which we will need to service.

We're currently welcoming applications from qualified Accountants with proven Australian business accounting experience.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in Australian business accounting.
Extensive expertise in bookkeeping, accounting, BAS and IAS preparation, and GST.
Business, Commerce, and/or Accounting degree qualification.
Proficient in Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Word.
Strong professional and personal accountability.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and commitment to work.
Collaborative work approach.
Excellent written, communication, and social skills.
Effective time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
Strong work ethic and a "Can do" attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare financial accounts, tax returns, and working papers for various entities.
Handle the preparation and lodgement of business activity statements.
Generate monthly financial reports.
Communicate with tax offices and address client queries.
Manage invoices, paperwork, and client databases.
Assist the forensic accounting and financial planning teams.
Undertake ad hoc activities as directed.
Provide customer service over the phone.

Working Hours: 7 am to 4 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.
