JOB OVERVIEW

At Pinnacle, we're passionate about delivering exceptional e-commerce solutions for our customer. We are looking for a talented Magento 2 Support with Developer experience to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting our technical needs or solving our technical problems. You can be an intermediary between us and a Magento Developer Service Provider, solving smaller everyday problems, and help consult or engage in the larger ones.

The Role:
As a Magento 2 Developer, you will be responsible for supporting maintaining our e-commerce websites using Magento 2. You will work closely with 1-2 people, where you can either help and teach where needed or help communicate issues and plans to a Magento Developer Service.

We are looking for someone with experience, but not expecting you to take on large scale development roles. We currently work with a large Magento Developer, but they are too large and professional to help solve normal issues that can come from our lack of experience in Magento. So, you role would be helping either address our needs by solving yourself, or translating it for communication with the Developer. Also, partly training or writing manuals on "how to" for simple features or store functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Support to our Team
Help solve or suggest solutions to problems
Implement new features and functionalities in Magento 2.
Troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise on Magento 2 sites.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
Maintain and enhance the performance of existing Magento stores.
Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends and Magento updates.
Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in Magento 2 development.
Good understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theme hierarchy, and fallback components.
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with Magento API integration, secure payment gateways, and shipping methods.
Ability to solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
Familiarity with Magento's latest features and updates.
Basic knowledge of SEO best practices in e-commerce.
Preferred Qualifications (but not mandatory):

Magento 2 certification is a plus.
Experience with Magento Cloud.

This is a gig related part-time role. We can provide you with monthly hours, work, but no permanent contract is tied to the role (yet).

How to Apply:
Please send your resume and experience in a cover letter explaining why you're a great fit for this role. We prefer communication via this platform.
