Product Sourcing Manager

OVERVIEW:

Hello and welcome! We are looking for a detailed-oriented, organized, analytical and communicative Product Sourcing Manager. Expected tasks include but are not limited to:

-Communicate with supplier/factory/manufacturer sourcing
-Find new suppliers for existing or new Amazon PL products
-Alibaba Sourcing
-Global sourcing
-Product Sourcing/purchasing
-Price and terms negotiation
-Factory visiting/ audit / hire inspection company
-Manufacturing issues resolution
-Sample collection/consolidation
-Logistics management
-Inventory management for multiple products & marketplaces
-Sales analytics and forecasting
-Amazon seller support


WEEKLY TASKS:

• Communication with supplier

• Inventory management for multiple products & marketplaces

• Sales analysis and forecasting

• Shipping plan creation (Amazon and others)

• Price negotiation

• Product development / improvement

• Coordinating inspections

• Amazon seller support case creation

• Monthly competitor analysis - what are others doing that we could be doing better?


RATE: $20/ hour

HOURS: 10 - 12 hours/ week (Weekly hours may vary depending on product sourcing demands)


REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years as a product sourcing manager. (If you are not - DON’T apply)
• Must speak fluent English
• MUST have experience with Amazon Seller Central
• Extreme attention to detail
• Must know how to create data analysis spreadsheets for product forecasting
• Must be on top of weekly tasks while finding ways to expand / improve current operations / products
• Must be able to plan ahead and analyze product seasonality
• Works efficiently but not sloppily
• Know how to research product requirements & certifications
• Familiarity with Chinese manufacturing culture
• Alibaba sourcing experience
• Great communication
• Must act as a manager and know when to solve issues by themselves
