Bookkeeper - QuickBooks Simple Start Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a proficient and meticulous Bookkeeper to handle our 2023 financial records using QuickBooks Simple Start. The role involves diligently entering income and expenses, categorizing them in line with our chart of accounts, and ensuring comprehensive organization of our financial data. This position plays a vital role in the preparation of our balance sheet and profit & loss statement for the accountant.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately record all financial transactions for the year 2023 in QuickBooks Simple Start.
Categorize transactions as per the chart of accounts.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial entries.
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
Maintain financial records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Identify and correct any discrepancies in financial data.
Assist and collaborate with our accountant by providing necessary financial information and documentation.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, specifically with QuickBooks Simple Start.
Understanding of basic accounting principles and efficient financial reporting.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in financial management.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
