We are seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Admin Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will work with the QA department of the company in the comfort of your home.
We are looking for a strong team player, eager to build a career in a fast-growing company, fast and flexible in adopting new systems and technologies, and with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Report to the QA Director every week at a minimum.
Assists the QA Director and QA Specialists in all quality assurance-related tasks.
Attends all mandatory company meetings and training.
Completes meeting minutes for department meetings and company meetings led by quality assurance.
Has strong knowledge of and adheres to all HIPAA rules and regulations.
Ensures QA policies and protocols are being followed properly throughout the clinic.
Review incoming faxes to the company and distribute them to the correct department.
File, organize, and store mail for medical record requests.
Process, file, and organize client grievances.
File, organize, and store clinical reports, training documents, materials, and CARF-related documents.
Maintain upkeep of the company's Google Drive.
Administer and compile client satisfaction surveys for the clinic.
Process and record all medical records requests that come from insurance, clients, and all other
parties.
Communicate between insurance, clients, clinicians, the billing department, and the office front desk
staff for medical records requests and fee collection.
Meets with QA Specialists every week to report updates and status of medical records requests
and notes.
Review, analyze, and report trends in weekly statistics reports from all departments and report them to
the QA Director.
Support other departments as needed from an administrative role.
Qualifications:
With VA experience relating to being a QA Admin
Bachelor’s degree preferred BS in Psychology, BS in Social Works, BS in Public Health or any related courses
Two years of equivalent experience working in a legal office or quality assurance department setting
Preferred minimum 2 years experience working in health care or mental health-related field
Prior experience handling case records is a must
Strong competency in HIPAA rules and regulations
Team-oriented mindset and ability to function independently
Rate:
$5 an hour
Benefits:
$10.00 per month for internet allowance assistance after 90 days
Additional $20.00 per month for health allowance plus 5-day vacation leave and 3-day sick leave credits (not convertible to cash) if passed the annual evaluation.
