JOB OVERVIEW

To apply for this job, you must pass a test.
The instructions are included in this post.

This job is occasional, HOURLY - I maybe have a project every month or two. But not all the time or even part time.
There will not be regular work (at least not at first)
But the work relationship could go on for many years and could grow.

I need someone who has good HTML, CSS skills (including forms, JS and "includes") and maybe some PHP skills. Keep reading …

When you reply or submit your application, write on the first line "I passed the test"

I am a PPC consultant working with Google AdWords, BING, Facebook and other PPC platforms.

I often use landing pages. Some of the pages are created manually, by hand, in HTML or PHP. Others use Landing Page builders and platforms, like InstaPage, or Lead Pages. They almost always use forms (HTML forms, and other custom forums, sometimes 3rd party forms or CMS integration).

Sometimes I have to make changes to those pages.

I am good at creating , building and editing the pages but I don't have enough time to do it. I want to work continually (over the years to come) with someone I can trust who will be able to edit the pages for me.

I need you to be someone who has good solid experience with HTML and CSS and forms, and other web development experience like WordPress or PHP would be very useful.

The exact task I have right now is adding Google "Recaptcha" code back into a set of landing pages that I had previously removed it from. I can show you the old code and the new pages. You'll need to figure out how to make it work again.

ALSO: You don't need to be an artist but it will be very helpful if you have a little bit of creative design skills as well, becomes sometimes I just need to improve the way a page looks, when it doesn't look right. I have some pages right now that are technically corect but they don't look right.

You do need to be GOOD with CSS. For example, you need to be able to build and maintain mobile-device "responsive" CSS code.

If you are this kind of person and can listen, learn, do good work, take care and take some of this load off my shoulders, at the bottom of your application write "I'm a good listener".

Not ALL tasks have to be done fast, but there will be a lot of work that must be done quickly (within a day or two).

When you write your response, please tell me as much about your web development or programming experience and skills as possible.

I will want to see and approve your work some times, but the more comfortable I get with your work, the less I will manage what you are doing -- I will just tell you what needs to be done and that's all.

I will communicate with you via email and Skype. At some point I will have a project management system as well.

You are welcome to ask me as many questions about the job as you like to.

Please send me your email address and Skype ID so I can interview you for the job.

Thanks!

Jonathan

P.S. if you are very good with WordPress or web development in general, that would be an excellent benefit as well! But the #1 thing I need right now is changes to some code on some landing pages.
