Estimator

We are looking for a certified Estimator to join our team within the Fire and Electrical sector, able to work autonomously with flexible working conditions, based in Manila. The right candidate would require a high level of computer skills, customer service skills, and a will to learn / adapt quickly.


Responsibilities will include:

- Undertake or oversee that all tenders, estimates, expression of interest are completed to a consistent standard and where practicable use standard templates to build up estimate components to enhance efficiency and consistency in the company's tendering standards and methodology.
- Be proficient in the use of proprietary software and adopt a standardised method of its utilisation.
- Liaise with all suppliers and subcontractors when securing pricing in support of tenders and estimates. Coordinate and collate any other materials and services procurement information in support of a tender or estimate.
- Establish and maintain complete records of all information, calculations, correspondence, and procurement data gathered in support of the estimate.
- Maintain and complete the full tender file inclusive of that information above, plus all correspondence with the tender inquirer, any received addendum, full copy of all drafts of the estimate inclusive of the final estimate, a full copy of the final submission of the tender to the inquirer.

- Certification in Estimating
- Strong client interaction skill set.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders.
- Confident in costing and scheduling.
- A pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running.
- Excellent written and oral skills.
- High-level attention to detail
- Confidence in ability to source information and prices on new products
- High Level numeracy, literacy, and computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment but also be self-motivated to work autonomously
