We are a romance audiobook subscription platform looking for a marketing assistant / associate to work directly with one of the co-founders, helping in all aspects of digital marketing. If you grew up on WattPad… I need to say no more.

We produce our own audiobooks and distribute them through our subscription platform. Our growth strategy has been solely organic so far, and we have multiple large social media channels, making it a fun overall environment to work in.

We are UK-based, so you’ll need to be available for at least a few hours where our working schedules overlap. Other than that, we are flexible with working hours as long as the work gets completed.


Your Main Tasks Will Be:

- Crafting beautiful and aesthetic AI images for YouTube thumbnails and blog articles.
- Assisting with editing and repurposing social media content.
- Transforming our romance audiobooks into social media content.
- Adapting blog posts into Instagram content.
- Scheduling social media content.
- Formatting blog posts.
- Conducting A/B testing for YouTube thumbnails.
- Copywriting.
- Helping us stay organized, which includes some administrative tasks.
- Communicating with user-generated content creators and video editors.
- Engaging in cold email outreach to potential partners.
- Performing general administrative tasks.



What We Are Looking For:

- An interesting-to-work-with personality with high ambitions.
- Can you understand the customer? What drives them? What makes them tick? And how can you translate that into marketing that performs?
- Startup mentality (“Move fast and break things”, MVPs for everything, learn from your mistakes, improve iteratively etc).
- A proactive attitude.
- The ability to get things done quickly.
- Willingness to work with romance audiobook material.
- Preferably a female candidate, but if you are a guy with a strong business mindset and think you can crack the minds of women (our main customers), you are more than welcome to apply.
- A passion for marketing.
- Can you make video content go viral?
- A fun tone of voice in copywriting: can you come up with genuinely interesting captions and concepts for social media content? We have ChatGPT for the boring stuff.



What We Want to See in Your Application:

- Proven success in B2C marketing, whether as an employee assisting a company's growth or through success in your own projects. Please include examples of your previous work.
- We are looking for someone genuinely good with digital marketing. That doesn’t mean years of working experience or a degree in marketing, but a proven track record of what you have achieved in this area.
- Personality.
- Proven passion for marketing.
