Senior Tax Preparer - US

SponsorCloud is a technology company providing an all-in-one suite of solutions for fund managers and real estate sponsors to manage their businesses.

We seek a qualified and motivated person to join our SponsorAdmin team as a Senior Tax Preparer. This position is full-time and long-term.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare Federal and State tax returns, primarily 1065 partnership returns for real estate syndications and funds
- Direct communication with customers to gather information for returns and to ask for clarification when needed to prepare returns.
- Assist team as needed with other tasks such as: calculating estimated quarterly tax payments, sales tax returns, IRS and State notices, tax plans, etc.

Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in 1065 partnership returns
- Real Estate experience is highly preferred
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Proficient in using tax software, Ultratax experience a plus
- Proficient in using Office Suite products like Excel, Word, Google sheets, Google docs
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
