Graphics Designer and advanced HTML/CSS editor

WARNING: This is a job for someone with advanced skills. If you are a newbie, lack self-confidence or experience, please do not apply. I need someone who can start right away and work on his own, solve problems and learn brand new things quickly and start immediately using these new skills on the job.

We need PROFESSIONAL help with websites for us and for clients who have VERY high quality requirements.

The websites are mostly created in our proprietary system, so you will have to learn some new tricks, but they are based on standard HTML/CSS. We often use Javascript, Ajax and Flash, so you need to be able to work with these as well. If you know PHP/MySQL, that's an advantage, but not a requirement.

Requirements:

Professional website creation experience - SHOW me a few websites you created yourself. Not websites you worked on with others, I am interested in seeing websites that are 100% your work.

You must be a GOOD designer and be able to work fast - I am not looking for someone who can customize a template but someone who can come up with good, creative, high quality ideas on his own.

You must be proficient with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax and Flash and be able to edit vector and bitmap images.

If you apply, you will get 3 quick test assignments so I can see your level of skill in the areas most important for me. I will NOT pay you to do the test assignments - these will only take a few hours, but if you can't do them quickly and competently, then you are not qualified. I am not trying to scam you, but I have plenty of experience with people SAYING they can do this and that who actually can not, and that is a waste of time for both of us. If you can successfully complete the test assignments, we will hire you for one week - you WILL get paid for this. If you are as good as you said, and you prove it with your work in the first week, we will hire you for the long term.
