Qualifications:
Degree in Management/Finance, and Accounting
Must have years of work experience in Hotel Accounting/Budgeting/Financial Analysis
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
Knowledge of accounting management duties e.g. processing payroll; performing asset management duties; providing business projections, displacement analysis, preparing government reports, filing tax returns, etc
Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
Key Responsibilities:
Handle cash flow-related concerns well and inform management and ownership as needed.
Coordinate the completion of all forecasts and budgets as required, with the full and active participation of the Executive Team and department managers.
Analyze financial data and operations in order to assist and advise management in maintaining the hotels’ financial objectives.
Create and maintain ongoing audits for all internal financial controls, such as those pertaining to purchases, cash management, payments, credit extension, inventories, assets, master keys, payroll, and documentation.
Direct and/or prepare all financial reports in accordance with the company’s requirements meeting various due dates and deadlines.
Ensure hotels’ compliance on all regulatory licenses and permits, leases, contracts, legal agreements, and the proper execution of all operational taxes.
