WordPress Website Designer and Developer

We are seeking an experienced WordPress website designer and developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in designing and developing WordPress websites, demonstrating a deep understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugins. You should be passionate about creating websites that are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for performance and SEO.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop custom WordPress websites from scratch, utilizing industry-standard development tools, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements, encompassing functionality and design.
- Manage and optimize website performance, focusing on page speed, load times, and overall site speed.
- Ensure website compatibility across different browsers and devices, such as desktop, mobile, and tablet.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and designers to comprehend project requirements and deliver high-quality websites that meet or exceed client expectations.

Requirements:

- Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in designing and developing WordPress websites.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with experience working with popular WordPress development tools like WP CLI, Composer, Git, Oxygen, and Bricks.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins, and familiarity with popular WordPress plugins such as Advanced Custom Fields, Gravity Forms, and Yoast SEO.
- Have experience working with popular WordPress page builders like Elementor, Divi, or Beaver Builder.
- Show a strong understanding of website performance optimization, including page speed, load times, and overall site speed.
- Be familiar with website security best practices, including website backups, SSL certificates, and security plugins.
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
