Video Editor for Podcast Clips

We are looking to add an a new video editor to our team.

Our company's specialty is taking long-form video of podcasts and repurposing it into short-form tiktoks/reels/shorts. We are looking for someone who can be given a 1-3 minute clip, cut it down to be as punchy and entertaining as possible, and then add visuals to accompany the video that make it more entertaining/easier to understand. AND WE DO NOT USE STOCK FOOTAGE. We do research on the topic of the video, and through that, we find graphics that help tell the story.

To start, we want someone who is able to replicate our style. Here are some examples:

We are looking for someone who is already accomplished in this field and can immediately start producing high quality work. Bonus if you are a good animator too.

This is a full time position. Expect to make about 1-3 short form videos per day, five days per week.

Other responsibilities may be expanded to include more types of videos - such as full episodes or 6-12 min ---------- your response, please send us two of your favorite podcasts (this is mostly just a test to see who reads the whole job listing). Also, instead of sending us a link to your whole portfolio, please just send us the 1-3 videos that you are most proud of. So many people send us a google drive folder with like 100 videos in it, and it is just too much to wade through.


Minimum Requirement:

-Is an expert in Adobe Premiere
-Near-native English (C2)

The Ideal Candidate:

-Has already created multiple hits on TikToks/Reels/Shorts
-Is good at Photoshop too
-Is funny (able to enhance the humor in videos)
-Has an interest in technology/business/economics
-Can write good hooks/titles
