Rockstar Podcast Editor

We are looking for a skilled and creative Audio and Video Editor to join the Castos team. As an Audio and Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing podcast episodes for our ---------- dio for Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc. and Video for YouTube.

Responsibilities:

- Edit full length audio to create stunning sounding podcast episodes for our customers
- Edit video footage to produce high-quality, visually engaging content for our YouTube channel
- Crafting dynamic video components such as lower thirds, intro animations, and transitions
- Provide constructive feedback on previous episodes to help improve the overall quality of the channel. This can be technical setup, content style, or episode format.
- Create dynamic and engaging short clips for YouTube shorts, Tiktok, and Instagram Reels
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in audio and video editing
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure that all content meets our brand guidelines and vision

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an audio and video editor with a portfolio of work to showcase your skills and creativity
- Proficient in video editing software such as Logic Pro X, iZotope Rx, Adobe Premiere Pro and and Audition, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, ProTools, Veed, etc.
- Knowledge in using ClickUp and Slack
- Knowledge of audio recording and production best practices
- Understanding of video compression, lighting, framing, and encoding standards
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as YouTube, Tiktok, and Instagram
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback
- Can work during graveyard hours or Eastern Standard Time
