Quantity Surveyor / Estimator for Tiling Company

An Australian based commercial tiling company is seeking an estimator who is able to
- Read drawings and find all required information for tiling
- Take off Architectural drawings, Finishes and SOW
- Code using Excel
- Communicate builders and suppliers for quotations and orders
- Liaise with supervisors and administrators in Australia
- Must be Knowledgeable in estimating Joinery, Glass and Glazing (aluminium).
- Experienced working in an Australian company is essential for the items and an advantage.


* Essential Criteria
- Computerised measurement (Take Off) skills
- Time management Skills
- Minimum of 3 Years’ estimation experiences for Apartments, Units, townhouses, Commercial Buildings, etc
- Ability to provide detailed quantity take-offs for trade work
- Ability to provide detailed reports for Manager’s review prior to tender submission
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Home based works
- Have Fast internet line and a decent computer to run estimation software and excel
- Proven record of providing accurate and detail estimates
- Works independently and/or as a team member

* Desirable Criteria
- Good understanding of Australian Building Industries
- Good Understanding of Tile Industries
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good at ACAD and/or Other tools for measurement
