About Us:
Empowered Community Services is seeking a dedicated Payroll Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. We are a dynamic and growing company in need of a detail-oriented individual with experience in Employment Hero (Payroll Software).
Job Description:
As a Payroll Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our team by ensuring accurate payroll processing. Your responsibilities will include:
Utilizsing Employment Hero to input timesheets and verify their proper import.
Collaborating with the Payroll Manager to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Maintaining payroll records and confidentiality.
Assisting in resolving payroll discrepancies.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Availability to work part-time on Mondays and/or Tuesdays for 4-6 hours per week.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but not essential):
Nice to haves:
Experience with Employment Hero
Knowledge of the SCHADS award system.
Familiarity with Australian payroll regulations.
