SEO Specialist

Thrifty Traveler is seeking an experienced SEO specialist to join our small but growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of search engine optimization management including on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and technical SEO optimization, and have experience working in Wordpress.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value keywords and phrases relevant to our industry and target ---------- petitor Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis reviews to identify gaps in keyword coverage to stay ahead of competing websites.

On-Page SEO: Optimize existing website content, headings, and internal linking structure to improve search engine rankings and user experience.

Off-Page SEO: Work with the team to execute off-page SEO strategies, including link building, to help build high-quality backlinks and improve domain authority.

Technical SEO: Perform routine website technical audits to identify and resolve issues affecting search engine performance, such as page speed improvements, website link redirects, and search engine ---------- O Reporting: Provide regular reports on key SEO metrics, and work with the Thrifty Traveler Editorial team to implement changes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role with a portfolio of successful SEO projects.

Proficiency in SEO tools such as Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar. Ahrefs experience is preferred, but not required.

Solid understanding of WordPress.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends, best practices, and search engine algorithms.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with members of the Thrifty Traveler editorial team.
