Transcriptionist/Administrative Assistant

This is a permanent full-time job. You will be responsible for transcribing video content that has previously been created. You will also be expected to do some basic editing. Transcription work will be 60 to 70% of your assignments. Your other work time will consist of various administrative tasks.

You must have at least 2 years doing transcription work. You should also have experience with editing and formatting in Word.

We will talk regularly using Zoom (video conferencing) about your tasks. You will be required to attend a team meeting most workdays so your schedule can't vary much without advanced approval. This will require that you have a set work schedule. Currently, that is a 9 hour shift between the hours of 5 PM to 7 AM your time. If a set work schedule will be a struggle for you, the job/company is not a good fit.

We use Teamwork to track tasks and record our time by project/assignment/task. You will be required to complete your time as you perform your tasks each day.

We can discuss the details of your job duties but this will give you a good idea of what will be required of you.

Daily/Regular Duties:

Video Editing As Necessary (we currently have a backlog of transcription to be completed)
Create Time Stamps and Summaries As Requested
Create Appropriately Formatted and Edited Word Docs for Review
Assist with Other Admin Tasks As Requested

I pay weekly on Friday for the previous work week ending on Sunday. I honor holidays and the 13th month pay policy (which will be prorated from your start date to mid December). We have a list of approved holidays that you may take off with pay.

This is a permanent full-time position. I expect you to be committed to working for me which means you will not have another significant part-time or full-time job.
