We are a fast-growing New York-based eCommerce enterprise specializing in high-value merchandise tailored for both residential and commercial spaces. Our product range spans 18 brands and includes tools, equipment, cabinetry, storage racks, bin organizers, and heavy-duty flooring, all aimed at delivering functional and attractive solutions to our customers located throughout the United States.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dedicated and imaginative part-time social media manager to initiate and expand our social media presence. As our primary social media specialist, you will be instrumental in building and nurturing our community across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter (X), and YouTube. Your flair for creating captivating content and facilitating engagement will drive the growth of our followers and foster a distinctive brand image. Your ability to cultivate strong relationships with influencers and other strategic partners will propel our business forward.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop and execute a robust social media strategy to enhance our brand visibility and gain new followers.
* Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms.
* Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
* Monitor and report on competitors' social media activities to inform our strategy.
* Analyze key metrics, compile reports for management showing results, and adjust strategy as needed.
* Stay updated with emerging social media trends and integrate them as necessary.
* Collaborate with the team to ensure brand consistency.
* Establish and maintain relationships with influencers in our niche.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Proven experience (minimum one year) as a social media manager with a strong portfolio.
* Superb command of American English along with deep knowledge of American culture/idioms.
* Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), and communication skills.
* Demonstrable social analytics tools knowledge.
* High-level proficiency in Canva and/or Photoshop for creating engaging and professional visual content.
* Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, and SEO is a plus.
* Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
