Wordpress plugin + long-term position

We are a web development company but we have too much work coming in. We're looking for someone familiar with Wordpress to join our team. You will be maintaining client websites, building Wordpress sites, developing plugins, etc.

Before hiring someone permanent, we always start new people off with small projects like this one as a trial. This project is for a Wordpress plugin and is a simple job for anyone who knows how to make a Wordpress plugins.

The plugin will create a new post type called “Event.” The event will have several fields: event name, start date, end date, etc. (see diagram).

Each event can have multiple dates and times. There will be one "date" and one "time" field, and the author can click "Add another date" to add more dates and times for the same event.

The plugin allows people to reserve spots on the guest list for the event.

Each event will have 3 pricing “levels" for spots on the guest list. Each level has a specified number of spots available, and the price for the spots at that level. Each time the form is submitted (and paid for, if it isn't free), the number of available spots decreases by 1. Once the level 1 spots run out, the price changes to level 2, and once level 2 spots run out, it goes to level 3. There is also a progress bar showing how many spots are available at the current level.

For example:
- 40 level 1 spots that are priced at “free,” 30 level 2 spots that are $5 each, and 100 level 3 spots that are $10 each.
- After the first 30 spots are claimed, the progress bar shows 25% remaining and below the progress bar it says "ONLY 10 FREE SPOTS REMAINING."
- After all the level 1 spots are gone, the progress bar goes back up to 100% and below the progress bar it says "ONLY 30 $5 SPOTS REMAINING!"
- Once the level 2 spots run out, it starts over at the level 3 price.
- Once all spots (for all 3 levels) are gone, the message says "Sorry, there are no more spots remaining."

To claim a spots, the user enters their first name, last name, email address, and how many people they want to bring with them (all fields required). If they select “Over 4,” then 3 text boxes appear so the user can enter up to 3 email addresses. Once the form is submitted, an email is sent to each of those addresses (see diagram for email subject/body).

Note: there is no charge for additional 1-4 guests. So if the price for the spot is $5, it's still $5 even if they bring 4 guests.

The first name, last name, email address, date, time, and # number of guests are also submitted to a separate form action via post.

When they submit the form:

- If there is a charge for the spot (not free), they are taken to Paypal to pay after submitting the form. And after they pay, they are taken to the confirmation page.

- If there is no charge (free), they are taken directly to the confirmation page after submitting the form.

The confirmation page has a “Share to Facebook” button on it so they can share the event post to their Facebook page.

The code must be clean, well-organized, and commented.
