My company is looking for an experienced video editor for a range of different content needs. This will be part-time to start and move to full-time quickly for the right person. The wage will also increase quickly as well.

Position Overview:

As an Experienced Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our podcast and YouTube channel. You will work closely with our producer and creative team to edit, enhance, and produce high-quality video content that resonates with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Video Editing: Edit and enhance video content for our podcast episodes and YouTube channel, ensuring a high level of visual and audio quality.

- Storytelling: Collaborate with the creative team to convey compelling narratives through video editing, ensuring consistency with our brand's tone and message.

- Post-Production: Handle all aspects of post-production, including color correction, audio mastering, and the integration of graphics and animations as needed.

- Content Optimization: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to optimize video content for YouTube and other relevant platforms, including SEO and metadata optimization.

- Efficiency: Manage and organize video assets efficiently, ensuring smooth workflows and timely delivery of content.

- Feedback Integration: Actively seek feedback from tea ---------- mbers and incorporate revisions and suggestions into video edits.

- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure that all videos meet our high standards for visual and audio excellence.

- Software Proficiency: Utilize video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and other relevant tools to achieve the desired video effects and outcomes.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
- Knowledge of audio editing and post-production techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
