Full Time Home-based Junior Wordpress Web Developer (Elementor Focus)

We are a fast growing Web & App Design and Development, SEO & Digital Marketing Company based in Hong Kong. This is a full time Home-Based Junior Web Developer role is to create reliable, high-performing and fully functional wordpress websites. The role is responsible for assist senior developers on coding and modifying websites by using Elementor from layout to function and according to a client's specifications, helping to upload products details and maintaining the website debug ---------- requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. Work Monday - Friday from 9am to 6pm. Must have no other jobs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create website layout/user interface by using the appropriate languages ( e.g. Elementor, HTML/CSS practices, javascript, PHP, etc. )
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design from mockups
- Test sites and applications in different browsers and environments
- Fix bugs in existing projects
- Test new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases
- To ensure security and backup of the website
- To copy/scrape product data from an existing site and upload directly to WooCommerce or to a CSV sheet for bulk uploading. Able to handle and integrate huge volume of data
- To upload multiple products with the highest accuracy.
- Updating plugin as well as wordpress to latest version
- Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built

Requirements:
- Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 1~2 yr experience in web development, particularly in the areas of corporate and e-commerce websites, familiarity with responsive design by using Elementor
- Experienced in WordPress & WooCommerce
- Expert in writing front-end code that’s responsive, cross-browser compatible, and maintainable
- Solid experience in HTML, Javascript, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery and PHP (MySQL is a plus)
- Strong Knowledge on Front End and Back End
- Strong Commitment to Deadlines
- Ability to solve and fix issues with less supervision
- Work from Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm Hong Kong time. One hour Lunch time
