Josh Shakespeare is a Stand Up Comedian and Content Creator, known for creating hilarious and engaging content geared towards edgy, dark and irreverent satire. We are currently seeking a talented and creative Short Form Video Editor to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Short Form Video Editor for Josh Shakespeare, you will play a crucial role in shaping our comedic content. You will be responsible for editing and enhancing raw footage of stand-up comedy clips, sketches, and various short-form videos to create engaging and humorous content for our audience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Josh Shakespeare to understand his comedic style and vision.
• Edit and assemble raw footage into entertaining and funny short-form videos.
• Add music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the comedic impact of the content.
• Ensure videos meet quality and branding standards set by Josh Shakespeare.
• Deliver edited videos on a week-by-week schedule to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain organized file management and backup systems.
• Stay updated with industry trends and editing techniques to continually improve your skills.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video editing, preferably in comedy or entertainment content.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Strong sense of comedic timing and storytelling.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the comedian and the production team.
• A sense of humor that aligns with the comedic style of Josh Shakespeare .
