We are an eCommerce company that specializes in a broad range of products for the supremely organized garage and workshop, and we’re on the hunt for a seasoned Content Creator and SEO Specialist. The ideal candidate will not only have a deep appreciation for our niche but will also possess an impeccable command of American English. We expect sparkling content that stands out and is ready for prime time—right out of the gate.

You will work independently, and with a high degree of autonomy. You will be free to choose most of your working hours, although you must be available some of the time during the USA ET workday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

CONTENT CREATION: Craft engaging, informative, and SEO-optimized content from scratch. This includes blog posts, product descriptions, and other website content.

ON-PAGE SEO: Handle all facets of on-page SEO, ensuring our content ranks high and reaches our target audience.

SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT: Develop compelling content tailored for our social media platforms, driving engagement and brand awareness.

KEYWORD ANALYSIS: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities and optimize content ---------- O AUDITS: Regularly conduct website audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure the site is optimized for search engines.

PERFORMANCE REPORTING: Monitor and report on content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for ---------- PETITOR ANALYSIS: Keep an eye on competitors' content and SEO strategies to identify threats and opportunities.

CONTENT UPDATES: Periodically review and update existing content to ensure its relevance and accuracy.

COLLABORATION: Work closely with the design and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are met in graphics and ---------- TE — REGARDING THE USE OF AI: While we are open to having you leverage AI tools to enhance your work, it should be used judiciously. We expect the final output to be indistinguishable from top-notch human-crafted content. ANALYTICAL TOOLS: While you have the freedom to choose your analytical tools, we have a soft spot for Ahrefs. Familiarity with it would be a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in content creation and SEO.
• Exceptional command of American English.
• Familiarity with the garage and workshop niche is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Proficiency with SEO tools, preferably Ahrefs, as well as familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant SEO tools.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams.
