We are seeking a qualified and experienced Bookkeeping and Payroll Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (15 hours per week).
The successful candidate will have:
Experience using Xero
*A strong understanding of the UK VAT system and ecommerce
*A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
*Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
In this role, you will be responsible for:
*Maintaining accurate financial reports
*Entering financial transactions into accounting software
*Reconciling bank statements
*Managing payroll for our team
*Assisting with cashflow management
*Chasing up suppliers for missing invoices and receipts
*Ensuring that all statements are balanced each month
*Ensuring timely payments, including those for pensions and other related expenses
