Total Care Connections, one of the fastest-growing home care organizations in the Southwest USA, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Billing & Bookkeeping Specialist. This full-time role offers an opportunity to join our dynamic team dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care to our clients.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of medical claims management for various payers such as Banner, United Healthcare, TriWest, VA, Colorado Medicaid, and others.
Manage claim submissions and follow-ups via a clearing house, preferably Change Healthcare.
Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts reconciliation and data entry.
Ensure accurate financial record keeping using QuickBooks.
Liaise and communicate effectively with internal teams, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
Qualifications:

Prior experience in medical billing and bookkeeping is mandatory.
Familiarity with various payers and experience with a clearing house, preferably Change Healthcare.
Proficiency in QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks.
Strong data entry and reconciliation skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with health information privacy laws and regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Bookkeeper (CB) qualifications are a plus.
