Hello,

I’m looking for a Part Time Video Editor.

The Video Editor will need to understand and have the ability to perform the below skills (1-8):

1. Video Editing Skills:
• Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe After Effects.
• Understanding of basic video editing techniques, including cutting, trimming, adding transitions, color correction, and audio editing.
2. Creative Skills:
• A good sense of storytelling and pacing to create engaging and compelling videos.
• Knowledge of visual aesthetics and an eye for detail to make videos visually appealing.
3. Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with various video formats and codecs.
• Ability to work with different resolutions and aspect ratios for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
• Knowledge of video compression and exporting settings.
4. Hardware and Software:
• A capable computer with sufficient processing power and RAM to handle video editing software efficiently.
• Licensed video editing software, plugins, and assets (music, stock footage) if necessary.
• A reliable internet connection for uploading and downloading large video files.
5. Storage:
• Adequate storage space for video files, as video editing can consume a significant amount of storage.
6. Understanding of Copyright and Fair Use:
• Knowledge of copyright laws and fair use policies to avoid copyright infringement when using music, footage, or images in your videos.
7. Communication Skills:
• Ability to communicate effectively with content creators or clients to understand their vision and requirements.
8. Time Management:
• Efficient time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Requirements:
1. The ability to edit 2 quality 4k video and Video Short within 5-day work week.
