We are looking for another video editor to create videos and short documentaries that engage, educate, and entertain our audience. The person must deliver high-quality and thought-provoking content that resonates with viewers worldwide.


Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor. As a Video Editor, you will play a vital role in crafting visually stunning and engaging videos and short documentaries. You will be given proper scripts and your job will be to create high quality captivating videos from the scripts. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong storytelling ability, and a deep understanding of current trends in video editing and post-production techniques.


Responsibilities:
- Find, Edit and assemble raw footage into cohesive and visually appealing videos that align with our brand's aesthetic and storytelling style
- Incorporate graphics, text, sound effects, and music to enhance the overall impact of the videos
- Understand our vision and ensure the final product meets their expectations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality and impact of our video content
- Maintain an organized library of video assets, ensuring easy access and retrieval for future projects
- Implement feedback from the team to refine and enhance video projects


Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor, preferably in the field of YouTube content creation or short documentaries
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
- Solid understanding of video codecs, formats, and file compression for various digital platforms
- Strong storytelling and narrative skills to create compelling videos that resonate with our target audience
- Proficient in motion graphics and visual effects techniques
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- A portfolio or reel showcasing your previous video editing work is required for consideration


Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with YouTube content creation and understanding of audience engagement strategies
- Familiarity with SEO principles and techniques to optimize video content for searchability
- Knowledge of color grading and color correction techniques
- Basic knowledge of sound editing and audio mixing
- Good communication skills and able to collaborate with the team.
