Shopify Web Developer

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Shopify Web Developer & Expert to join our dynamic team. The candidate will collaborate closely with the marketing team and clients to deliver visually appealing and effective eCommerce sites. The role requires expertise in Shopify development, CSS, HTML, and custom theme coding, along with a strong understanding of graphic and web design to create unique brand experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain fully functional Shopify sites tailored to client needs.
Customize pre-existing themes and develop custom themes from scratch to align with brand aesthetics and functional requirements.
Collaborate with the graphic and web design teams to create visually appealing and brand-specific solutions.
Optimize website performance in terms of speed and SEO.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in Shopify themes and storefronts.
Conduct A/B tests to understand user behavior, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Partner with the marketing team to align web development with overall digital marketing strategies.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Shopify development.
Proficiency in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
Strong experience in custom coding Shopify themes.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and other workflow management tools.
Solid graphic and web design skills, with a portfolio of completed projects to showcase these abilities.
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) to help optimize web pages.
Familiarity with other eCommerce platforms like Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics.
