Web Developer

Role: Experienced Web Developer
Timeframe: 3 -10 days
Salary: $1137 USD per month (64,573 PHP per month) - calculated on a pro-rata basis as needed
Type of employment: Gig initially, with the potential for a more permanent role

We're urgently looking for an experienced Web Developer with the following skills:

1. PHP (native & OOP)
2. Javascript specifically jQuery. Someone with knowledge of other frameworks would be beneficial as well. But with deep knowledge of DOM
3. Shopify liquid coding and store/admin API
4. Website optimisations
5. Knowledge of mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
6. CSS3 and media queries
7. Ability to translate designs into working templates

Must haves:
• Great English skills.
• The ability to work to UK working hours
• The ability to work as part of a team, under another Philippines-based Senior Web Developer
• Great internet connection and willingness to communicate via email, WhatsApp and Zoom (if required)
• Flexibility to extend the agreed project time if required.

This is currently a one-off gig role, however as a rapidly growing web design agency, with a team of designers and one developer currently full-time, we foresee the opportunity for this to turn into a more permanent/full-time role. This initial short project is being viewed by the management team as a test case for expanding our team further.

As this is a fairly urgent project, we're looking to conduct interviews immediately (on Sunday 3rd September if possible), to begin work ASAP. For the interview, we'd be required to speak briefly on Zoom with 2 members of the UK time, as well as our Senior Developer.
