Aged Receivables Associate
Atlanta, GA

The Role
We are searching for an Aged Receivables Associate to join our Team. Reporting directly to the CEO and Chief of Staff, you will grow our South Eastern footprint by assisting with hiring initiatives, onboarding initiatives and other special projects. Your primary role is to ensure a detailed and organized setup of our processes, onboardings and current systems in place.


What You’ll Do:

- Collections Management:

Proactively contact rental guests with outstanding balances through phone, email, and other communication channels.
Maintain a record of all communication and payment agreements with guests.
Collaborate with the Manager to develop effective collection strategies and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations while pursuing collections.

- Collection Process Oversight:

Take ownership of the collection process from initiation to resolution.
Monitor and track outstanding balances, updating records regularly to reflect payment progress.
Generate reports and provide regular updates to the Finance Manager on the status of aged receivables.

- Communication Auditing:

Review and audit internal and external communication related to chargeback scenarios.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation and communication in dispute resolution cases.
Maintain organized records of communication for reference and reporting purposes.

- Booking Channel Expertise:

Develop a comprehensive understanding of all booking channels used by the company.
Familiarize yourself with the specific chargeback processes associated with each booking channel.
Collaborate with the Finance Manager to ensure consistent handling of chargebacks across different platforms.


Requirements:
2+ years of experience in hospitality or multifamily industry related role or accounting
Highly organized and attentive to detail
Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and able to convey complex principles through written and spoken correspondence
Ability to read and interpret documents including real estate contracts, leases, and financial statements.
Highly adaptable and a clear-thinking problem solver
A self-starter on individual projects and a contributing member on team projects
Experience in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
Desire to contribute, ask questions, and ask for help with needed
Neat, clean, and professional at all times
Salesforce experience preferred
