True Crime Script Writer

Are you passionate about writing and true crime? We are looking for an experienced script writer to join our team and work on our true crime YouTube channels. The ideal candidate must be obsessed with youtube, Have a passion for storytelling and true crime, and experience in creating engaging content on YouTube. If you are a fan of true crime stories and want to be a part of the creation process this position is right for you!


Direct Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth research and write scripts about the assigned topics
Write scripts optimized for youtube videos (1500 to 1600 words in length)
Provide useful sources (hyperlinks to images, clips, and Articles) for our video editors
Make sure that scripts are following the law (e.g., copyright and youtube guidelines)
Navigate around sensitive words NOT allowed on youtube
Utilize analytics and niche research to ensure optimal performance and interest for all videos
Write 2 to 4 scripts a week
Ensure deadlines are met


Requirements:

1+ years experience writing scripts for video content, preferably for faceless youtube channels.
Proof of channels you have worked for in the past
Active trello and ---------- accounts
Comfortable researching and writing about disturbing true crime topics
Familiarity with YouTube viewer retention techniques
Demonstrate writing abilities through a test task
Strong attention to detail and know how to quality check your work


Pay:

Paid $15 per project (script)
Paid weekly
Must have a working Payoneer account*
