Virtual Assistant/Graphic Designer for US Children's book company

We are a children's book publisher based in San Francisco, CA.

I am looking for a long-term full-time virtual assistant who is a reliable self-starter, tech-savvy, organized, a strong communicator, and an efficient problem solver. There will be some training, but I need someone who is also proactive and has a can-do attitude to be able to figure out things on their own.

Daily tasks may include but are not limited to:

Graphic Design + Creative tasks
- Book layout design and edits using Adobe Indesign and Adobe Photoshop and preparing book files for printer
- Uploading files and data to various POD platforms (Amazon FBA, KDP, Ingramspark)
- Creating social media graphics, website graphics and videos
- Basic Video editing and audio editing
- Creating and sending marketing emails
- Create book/product mockups
- Copywriting/Creative writing/Blog writing

Admin tasks
- Updating Shopify website
- Social Media Planning
- Research
- Organizing files
- Maintain wholesale customer list, reach out to prospective retailers via email
- Creating documentation and tutorials on work tasks
- Coordinating with translators for bilingual books
- Misc admin tasks

Nice to have, but not required:
- Can speak/read basic Mandarin Chinese
- Web development skills
- Experience with POD platforms like Amazon KDP and Ingramspark
- Experience with Amazon FBA and Shopify
- Experience with Meta/FB ads
- Experience with Amazon ads

To be considered, you must submit the following:
1. Excellent English skills. You must have an English score of C2(Advanced/Mastery), all candidates that do not have this score will not be considered.
2. Be able to commit full-time (minimum of 40 hours a week)

5. Send me a writing sample and examples of graphics you've made (specifically book designs if you have them)

Top candidates will be required to do a small exercise and have a 30 min video interview to determine fit. Hired candidate will have a 30-day fully paid trial.

The rate is $550/month. you do not have to work US hours as long as it is 40 hours a week.
