Canva Specialist

Purpose:
Join the Markited team as our Canva Specialist to amplify our design initiatives, with a primary focus on datasheets and case studies. This role entails managing and enhancing our existing designs, crafting visuals for events and social campaigns, and optimizing the use of Canva templates for efficiency.

Key Tasks:
- Organize and maintain all Canva templates to ensure consistency.
- Utilize templates to craft new designs for datasheets and case studies.
- Implement design updates based on feedback promptly.
- Produce engaging visuals for social posts and event invitations as necessary.
- Edit videos to ensure a polished beginning and end.
- Collaborate efficiently with the team to set and manage priorities.

Skills:
- Mastery of Canva.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency with Gmail.
- Solid understanding of fundamental design principles.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in a remote work setting.
- Familiarity or a willingness to learn tools like Notion, ---------- , and Mid-journey.

Experience:
While years of experience are not the primary criteria, candidates must demonstrate strong design capabilities. A keen eye for professional and polished design. A non-essential bonus, candidates would have a good grasp on relevant IT and cybersecurity sectors concepts.

Hours & Growth Potential:
- Initial Commitment: 2 to 4 hours per day, 5 days a week.
- Growth Potential: As the specialist's capabilities become more evident, there's potential to branch into other areas of marketing for our clients. The current workload can potentially evolve into a full-time role.
- Flexibility: Our team is based in Australia, operating remotely with a focus on flexibility. This position is 100% remote, allowing for work to be completed based on reasonably set deadlines and with an emphasis on flexible scheduling.
