Short Term Rental Communications Agent & Airtable Specialist

Join our growing short-term rental property management team and take charge of managing a portfolio of vacation rentals.
Oakley Vacation Rentals is located in Canada and the USA and has experienced significant growth in the past year, expanding from 0 listings to over 12 Airbnb listings in 2022. We have ambitious goals to reach 100 units by the end of 2023 while still providing top-notch customer service to our clients, guests, and Upgrade to see actual info this role, you will be responsible for using our property management system (PMS), Hostaway or Guesty, to manage the rentals and guest communication. Strong computer skills and experience with Guesty or Hostaway are essential for this position.

You will use a variety of other software tools to assist with managing the rentals:
+ MUST HAVE PREVIOUSLY WORKED FOR AIRBNB AS CASE MANAGER LEVEL 2 OR HIGHER***
+ Slack for communication within the company
+ Turnoverbnb for managing cleaners and scheduling turns
+ EZCare for managing inventory, work orders, maintenance, and future cleaning scheduling
+ Pricelabs for pricing and revenue strategies
+ Brivo for remotely managing locks and thermostats
+ Ring for security cameras
+ StayFi for managing WiFi networks
+ Hostfully for electronic guidebooks
+ Minut for monitoring noise and deterring parties
+ QUickbooks for accounting, or Freshbooks

Your primary role will be working with guests to provide an amazing experience for them. You will help with inquiries, pre-stay questions and coordination with our team, problem-solve any issues that may arise during a stay, and communicate primarily through online chat in a friendly, polite, and professional manner. Amazing people skills, English proficiency, and customer service skills are required. The response time and speed to guest communication is essential and needs to be within a couple minutes of an message being sent, in addition to guest communication, you will also help us with all other aspects of managing Short Term Rentals like the following:
+ Coordinating maintenance with handymen and 3rd party services
+ Calling and setting up internet and trash services for new properties
+ Building our listings on Guesty/Hostaway for platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, and other platforms
+ Assist with implementing new software, procedures, and systems
+ We are building out our internal database in Airtable. We need help adding more of our information in there, building automations and integrations with other software, building dashboards for all our departments (cleaning, onboarding, sales, accounting, etc). Airtable experience is a HUGE plus and will be highly valued.
