R&B Properties, a leading Property Management Company, is in search of a Maintenance Coordinator to join our dynamic team. We specialize in managing rental properties on behalf of property owners, with services ranging from tenant placement to rent collection, bill payments, and liaising with city officials and emergency services.
Role Overview:
As a Maintenance Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be handling maintenance calls from tenants. Your ability to understand and evaluate maintenance issues is crucial, as you'll be prioritizing these calls and coordinating with tradespeople to ensure that all issues are addressed in a timely manner. You don't need to be a contractor, but a general understanding of maintenance problems will be essential. Our existing staff will provide training and support to help you excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and prioritize maintenance calls from tenants
- Schedule trades and manage appointments
- Manage relationships between tenants and neighbors
- Coordinate with city officials, Fire Department, etc., as needed
Technology Requirements (Training Provided Where Applicable):
- Computer: Stable, high-speed internet connection, a computer no more than 3 years old running Windows 11
- Power: Access to stable electricity or willingness to purchase a battery backup

- Word/Adobe for document handling (Part of MS Office 365)
