Hi there!
We are a Perth (Western Australia) based building business.
We would like a part time bookkeeper to join our team. Hours and times to be discussed but anticipate 6 - 8 hours per week to start.
** You MUST be highly experienced in using XERO
** You MUST be experienced in bookkeeping for an Australian business
Please do not apply if you do not have this experience.
Your role will be to:
- keep track of sales, purchases, payments and receipts.
- keep track of the receipts that will be sent from the projects
- keep track of the invoices that will be
- organise, collate and record financial data on a day-to-day basis and store this information in general ledgers
- record the financial information of our business in a standard way, so that our accountant can also access it easily.
- work on the design maintenance and look to improve internal business processes
Our desired applicant qualities must be:
• A high level of attention to detail and quality
• Strong experience in XERO and Microsoft excel
• Knowledgeable on use of other Microsoft applications
• A solid work ethic, reliable and punctual
• Honest and open – we want you to talk to us about any challenges you face so we can help
• Confidence to complete tasks, meet deadlines and question tasks and the team
• Accountability and solution focused
• Excellent communication skills
