Marketing Communication Officer

Experience
? Experience in the design and execution of marketing and communication strategies
? Experience of PR and media relations including writing press releases and
negotiating with the media.
? Experience of graphic design and use of Adobe Creative Suite
? Experience of website content management and using social media strategically
? Experience of event management
? Experience of using Mailchimp and Survey monkey
? Experience of digital monitoring and optimization tools and techniques, such as
Google Analytics or others.
Knowledge
? Public relations theory and practice
? Marketing theory and practice
? Digital marketing/communication e.g. email marketing, social media and content
marketing
? Design and production of print materials and publications
? Delivering and running events
? Interest in one /some of the following:

o Trade Facilitation
o Local government and civil society
o Economic development
o Information Technology Trends
o Cross Border

Qualification:
? Educated to degree level or equivalent (Preferably Communications/Marketing course)
? Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, communications or public relations with
demonstrated success.
